SIMPLE STAMINA
It’s easy (and tempting!) to get instant energy from a cup of coffee, a sip of an energy drink, or a bite of candy — but how do we develop and maintain long-term energy? Superfoods offer a simple and effective answer. Both consistent energy and stamina can be obtained through the many supportive nutrients in superfoods, while avoiding the up-and-down energy rollercoaster caused by stimulative foods.

SMOOTHIE SECRETS: SEEK ENERGY THROUGH NOURISHMENT
Sugar provides energy, but in order for it to be long-term it must be in a whole food form that naturally includes fiber and healthy fats to help slow its release into the bloodstream. For example, sweet bananas and lucuma blended with EFA-rich hemp seeds are an ideal stamina combination. This delicious blend of superfoods allows the energy from the fruit sugars to have a more steady, time-lapse release due to the healthy fats and fiber in the hemp. Additionally, maca is a true stamina superstar, working as an incredible adaptogen. Instead of using borrowed energy from the body like a stimulant (think coffee), maca supports the adrenal system, which strengthens the body and energizes us long-term.

MACA SHAKE
2 Bananas
3 Tbsp Navitas Naturals Lucuma Powder
3 Tbsp Navitas Naturals Hemp Seeds
1 Tbsp Navitas Naturals Maca (or more if desired)
1½ Cups Vanilla Rice Milk
(2 Cups Ice, and Sweetener as needed)

Blend all ingredients together, including 2 cups ice. Taste and lightly sweeten with Coconut Sugar, if desired. Makes 4 cups.
